COMPUTEX is held every early June. In 2026 it runs Jun 2–5, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2 and Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1.

For a tech product booth, the priorities are making live products easy to try, making the logo visible from far down the aisle, and planning power and cabling for screens and machines at the design stage. Below, using two booths we built at COMPUTEX 2023, we explain how to schedule and how to plan the booth.

Key points:COMPUTEX registration usually opens the autumn before. Once you have your booth location, we recommend starting the design 3 months before the show; organizer forms close about one month before move-in. For tech booths, plan live demos, power, and logo height first.

How to Schedule for COMPUTEX

Schedule forward from registration; the step that comes last is the organizer form deadline.

  • Registration: for 2026, registration opened on Sep 22, 2025. The earlier you register, the better your choice of location. Dates for each edition follow the official website.

  • Booth location assigned: confirm the hall, the number of standard booths, and which sides are open. This decides the direction of the entrance and the logo.

  • 3 months before the show: start the 3D proposal, and compile the list of products and machines to be shown.

  • About 1 month before move-in: organizer forms close, including over-height, structural, and power applications.

  • Early June: move-in and build, followed by the show.

For a Tech Product Booth, Plan These Three Things First

1. Make Live Products Easy to Try

Display counters line the aisle, so visitors can pick up products without stepping into the booth.

Tech buyers tend to check specs first, then try the product. With display counters, screens, and the product wall along the aisle and the meeting area on the inner side, passers-by and serious prospects naturally separate.

2. Work Out Screens, Machines, and Power in Advance

The more screens and machines you have, the more power and cabling need to be planned at the design stage.

We list the power for each machine, total the wattage for each zone, and then decide the power application. Cables are hidden inside the cabinets so the display surfaces stay clean.

3. Make the Logo Visible from Far Down the Aisle

An overhead logo and a sign on a tall column let people in both aisles recognize you.

COMPUTEX aisles are crowded, and visitors often decide from a distance whether to walk over. Logos on columns or the header must be fully visible, and a corner booth needs one facing each direction.

Modular System, or Custom-Built Plus Modular?

Of the two booths in 2023, one was custom-built combined with modular, and the other was fully modular. Where to use custom-built was decided by what the design needed.

The first booth combined custom-built and modular, using black, red, and a tall column as the brand's memorable features. The second was built entirely with a modular system, with white panels and the brand's blue, and products and a real vehicle displayed on the open side.

Modular system components can be rented and reused, and are priced by quantity, so costs are easier to estimate in advance. Assembly is also fast, which suits shows on a tight schedule. When you need curves, large volumes, or special forms, build that section custom and keep the rest modular. For how to choose between the two, see"Custom-Built or Modular System Booth?".

FAQ

Q1: Where is COMPUTEX held?

In recent years, mainly at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2 and Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1. Halls and dates for each edition follow the official website.

Q2: How early should we start preparing a COMPUTEX booth?

Registration usually opens the autumn before. Once you have your booth location, we recommend starting the design 3 months before the show, because organizer forms close about one month before move-in.

Q3: Can a small booth still carry a strong brand presence?

Yes. A modular booth's brand presence comes mainly from graphics and lighting. Get the brand colors, logo height, and product displays right, and even a small booth can be recognized from the aisle.

Q4: Can we hire you for design and construction drawings only?

Yes. We take on design-plus-construction-drawings projects, and we can also take a project from 3D proposal and construction drawings all the way through to the on-site build.
