TAIPEI AMPA Booth Case Study: Three Brand Booths from 2025, Worth Reading Before AMPA 2027
Updated: Oct 16
By Chris | Vision Design
Visitors at an auto parts show work their way down the aisles. A booth has to be recognizable from the aisle before people will stop.
At TAIPEI AMPA 2025, we built booths for three brands. This article looks at each of the three projects, then covers information and prep timing for AMPA 2027.
Key points:An AMPA booth must be recognizable from the aisle. Each of the three brands had one lead feature: brand colors with dimensional lettering, a display vehicle, and a hands-on product wall. AMPA 2027 opens Apr 13; we recommend starting preparations in mid-January.

TAIPEI AMPA 2027: Key Information
AMPA 2027 falls in mid-April at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, so plan your timeline backward from Apr 13.
Information published so far:
Show: TAIPEI AMPA (Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show)
Dates: Apr 13–16, 2027
Venue: Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1
Concurrent shows: Taiwan International Smart Mobility Show, presented together as "360° MOBILITY Mega Shows"
Exhibitor recruitment: from Sep 15, 2026
New zones: "Vehicles / Mobility" and "Two-Wheeler Parts & Micro-Mobility"
Sources: Commercial Times (Sep 9, 2026) and Central News Agency. The organizer's announcements take precedence.
Case 1: A Brake System Brand, with Brand Colors and Dimensional Lettering
This booth applied the brand's main colors to the structure, and dimensional lettering made it visible from the aisle.
The brand's main colors are green and black, and these two colors built recognition.
The dimensional lettering on the booth reads clearly from the aisle.
The circulation was planned around the products, with the brand logo and product area integrated, so visitors who saw the logo walked naturally into the product area.

Case 2: A Lubricant Brand, with a Display Vehicle and a Sense of Speed
The lead feature of this booth was the display vehicle, with a blue-violet feature wall bringing out speed and motion.
The display vehicle sat at the visual focal point, the first thing the crowd saw.
The feature wall was blue-violet, conveying speed and motion and giving the vehicle a clear backdrop.
A meeting bar in one corner of the booth made business conversations easy on site, without taking space from the display vehicle.

Case 3: A Tool Brand, Turning the Product Wall into an Experience
The lead feature of this booth was the display wall, which visitors could operate themselves.
The product is a modular storage system, so we mounted system combinations directly on the wall.
Visitors operated the display wall on site and tried the storage system for themselves.
The brand logo and display area stayed consistent, and the display space kept its flexibility.

AMPA 2024: The Same Lubricant Brand, One Year Earlier
We worked with the same lubricant brand two years running, with a different expression of speed each year.
At TAIPEI AMPA 2024, we also built a booth for this brand.
The structure was aluminum alloy, with dynamic lighting creating a racetrack atmosphere. The entrance was an open arch, with lighting adding to the sense of speed.
Inside, an interactive display counter let visitors learn about the products up close, with a real vehicle displayed under brand lighting.
In 2024, the sense of speed came from the racetrack and lighting; in 2025, it shifted to the display vehicle and the blue-violet feature wall.

What the Three Booths Have in Common
The three booths took different approaches, but three things were the same.
First, the brand color extends into the structure. It is not just a logo stuck on a wall; color and form together carry the whole booth.
Second, each booth has only one lead feature. For the brake system brand it was the dimensional lettering, for the lubricant brand the display vehicle, for the tool brand the display wall.
Third, the meeting area sits where it does not block the displays. The lubricant brand put its bar in one corner, giving meetings and displays their own space.
When preparing for AMPA 2027, start by asking: what is the lead feature of our booth?
Timeline: Count Back from the April Show
With the show opening Apr 13, work needs to start by mid-January.
We recommend starting about 3 months before the show, which for 2027 means mid-January.
Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center requires booth design drawings to be submitted for review 30 days before move-in, so construction drawings cannot wait until the last minute.
Counting back, the order is roughly:
Mid-January: kickoff, confirm booth location and budget
February: 3D proposal finalized
Mid-March: construction drawings submitted for review (30 days before move-in)
Late March: over-height booth documents (15 days before the show)
Mid-April: move-in
When several brands exhibit at the same show, the exhibitor manual is shared, but forms are filed brand by brand and each stamps its own company seal, so leave a little more time.

FAQ
Q1: How early should we start preparing for AMPA 2027?
We recommend starting about 3 months before the show. With AMPA 2027 opening Apr 13, that means mid-January.
Q2: Can several brands at the same show use the same company?
Yes. In 2025 we built booths for three brands at once, each designed separately. The exhibitor manual is shared, but forms are filed brand by brand, each with its own company seal.
Q3: Can the booth be taller than 4 m?
Yes, but at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center anything 4 m or above counts as over-height and needs an application, up to a maximum of 6 m.
Q4: Should an AMPA booth be custom-built or modular?
It depends on the form and whether you will reuse it. For the differences, see Custom-Built or Modular System Booth?.
